The Agata Top is the debut pattern from CLOTHE. It combines the ease of a simple sew, with the impact of a bold silhouette - resulting in the ultimate elevated wardrobe essential. Beyond its original base, there are many ideas to explore and manipulate into new and exciting designs.

Skill Level: Beginner

Size & Fit: This size range is A-K drafted for a 5cm (2”) difference between high bust/chest and full bust/chest.  It can also fit those with 0 difference between high bust/chest and full bust/chest.

The fit is boxy & oversized, with a neat neckline and elbow length sleeves. Please refer to the Garment & Body Measurements when deciding between sizes - You may want to size down rather than up depending on your chosen fabric and how oversized you’d like to wear it.

If your full bust/chest is closer to 10cm (4”) greater than your high bust/chest - you may achieve a better fit with our L-V size range, which will have a bust dart.  This size range is coming soon! Sign up to the newsletter to receive updates.

Pattern Options: This pattern includes two neckline finishes, and suggested lengths for cropped or longer top designs. View A - Woven Fabric has inside binding and a back neck split. View B - Knit fabric has a folded neckband.

Suggested Fabrics: Agata can be made in most light to medium weight woven fabrics like linen, hemp, cotton, tencel, viscose or silk. If you prefer to make a knit version, use anything from a structured cotton jersey to something with a little more drape like a linen knit.

Supplies: For View A - Woven Fabric, you will need a small button between 6mm-10mm. Alternatively, you can use a hook and eye.
